Mark K Reed III, son of Mark Jr. and Mary Reed passed away peacefully from COPD at his home on Monday, April 7, 2025. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mark Sr. and Nelle Reed and Charles and Willetta Renneisen.

Mark graduated from Lafayette High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehead State University. He was avid student of Kung Fu martial arts and was a third-degree black belt. He always enjoyed singing karaoke with his friends at his favorite night spots.

He is survived by his uncle Bill (Mary Carmel) Renneisen, a host of cousins and friends as well as his constant canine companion, Sassy.

Pall bearers will be Jamie Renneisen, Jeff Briggs, David Oberto, Matt Oberto, Aaron Welch, and Tony Horn. Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Leo Catholic Church, 295 Huntertown Road, Versailles, Kentucky on Monday, April 14, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM followed by Mass at 12:00PM. Burial we be in Calvary Cemetery, 874 West Main Street in Lexington.

Donations in Mark's memory can be made to St. Leo Catholic Church or the Lexington Humane Society. Kerr Brothers on Harrodsburg Road is in charge of the arrangements.
