Charles Glenn Hafley, age 60, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, in the same city where he was born on January 7, 1964. A graduate of Lafayette High School, Charles was a skilled carpenter who had pride in his craftsmanship.

He will be deeply missed by his loving family, including his son, Matthew (Amanda) Hafley; daughters, Leslie Hafley and Lynlee Scott; and his cherished grandchildren, Hayden and Landon Hafley, Devin and Dakota Scott. Charles's life was a testament to his unwavering love for his family and friends, and his presence will be felt in their hearts forever.

An inspiration to all who knew him, Charles lived by the adage, "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived—this is to have succeeded." These words by Ralph Waldo Emerson beautifully encapsulate the meaningful life that Charles led and the legacy of kindness and dedication that he leaves behind.
