Jimmie Ritchey Jr., 71, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born May 13, 1953 to the late Jimmie Ritchey, Sr. and Ann Travis Ritchey. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School, a landscaper and a member of Church of the Savior. He is survived by his wife, Janet Bowlin Ritchey; one daughter, Brooke (Jeff) Pearce of Carolina Beach, N.C.; one son, Brian (Heather) Fowler of Durham, N.C.; a daughter in law, Ashley Hart of Wilmore, KY; four sisters, Bunny Smith of Lexington, Linda (Price) Watkins of Florida, Dian (Frank) Stapleton of Lexington, Ruth Hisle of Cedar Park, TX; one brother, Mickey (Connie) Ritchey of Lexington; Grandchildren are Griffin, Jack, Connor, Clare, Chandler, Emma, Jared, Lauren, Nicholas, Hailee, Laney, Shelby, Brooklynn and Tatum; father in law and mother in law, David (Nancy) Lunceford of Lexington.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 9, 2024 at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Monday. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
