James Russell Case, born in Maysville, KY (Mason Co) on January 9, 1948. On April 24, 1970 Specialist Four Case was declared a casualty of the Vietnam War. He served with honor in the United States Army. He is remembered by the people of Kentucky. May his positive example inspire us. Working together towards peace, mutual respect, and equality for all. James was buried in the Lexington Cemetery.
James graduated from Lafayette High School in 1967.. He joined the Army as Specialist Four. James specialty was Helicopter Repairer. He was attached to E Company, 723rd Maintenance Battalion, Americal Division. He was stationed in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam.
James received various medal for his bravey. Such as: National Defense Service Medal ★ Vietnam Campaign Medal ★ Vietnam Service Medal
James is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC. Name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 11w, Line 43.
