Alice E. Forbes, 78, of Lexington passed away Feb. 9, 2021. Lexington native, she was born to the late Kermith E. and Louise Gentry Forbes on June 2, 1942. She is survived by her brother Wayne E. (Linda) Forbes; niece Suzanne (John) Combs; and great-niece Kala Combs. She was a member of Tates Creek Christian Church.

Alice was a graduate of Lafayette High School ('60) and Fugazzi College. She retired from Kentucky Utilities and she had worked at the Old Republic Insurance Company prior to joining KU. She enjoyed arts and crafts.

Her graveside service will take place at Lexington Cemetery on Saturday at 11:30am. Attendees should arrive at the cemetery front gate at 11:15am.
