Dorothy Dean Dunn Mills, 87, widow of Leonard Mills, Jr., passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born February 24, 1935, in Scott County, KY to the late John Frank and Sarah Darnell Dunn. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School and was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church for many years. Dorothy had been a homemaker and was an avid Bridge player. She is survived by her children, Ray Mills, Dawn (L.C.) Richardson, and Rodney Mills; her grandchildren, Ashley (Bill), Lee, Coby, Brittany, and John Stanley (Holly); eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Janice Redmon. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dora Kay; and brothers, James Rodney and John Wayne. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, September 26, 2022, at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Monday at the funeral home. She will be buried with her husband in a private ceremony at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
