Peggy Gail Dennis
March 15, 1947 - December 1, 2022
Lexington, Kentucky - Peggy Gail Dennis, 75 and wife of Michael Lyn "Mike" Dennis, passed away while under hospice care on December 1, 2022. A Lexington native, she was born to the late Shirley Peel and Anita Eldridge Peel on March 15, 1947. She was a member of Southland Christian Church.
She was a graduate of Lafayette High School who built a successful career as an insurance agent in the equine industry.
In addition to her husband of 23 years, Peggy is survived by her son and daughter, Dennis (Dana) Steffey and Dusty Kay Dennis; one grandchild, Faith Steffey; one brother and three sisters: Ernie (Linda) Peel, Patsy Bramble, Marsha (Ray) McDaniel and Judy (Mark) Haggard; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services on Monday, December 5th at Milward-Man O' War: visitation from 9am until 11am, followed by the funeral at 11am. Burial will be private on Monday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
The pallbearers are Randy Fosson, Glen Carter, Jerry Provence, Darrell Breeding, Barney Kinman and Marv Swanson. The honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Peel; Ray McDaniel; Rob Hart; Kevin Hisle; Mark, Dean & Brad Haggard and Tim Bramble.
