WHITE, Robert Douglas, 73, wife of Rose Martin White, died June 10, 2023 at his residence in Nicholasville, KY. Born August 21, 1949 in Fayette County, KY, he was the son of the late June B. and Ruby Beaumont White. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School and Transylvania University. Mr. White retired from IBM where he had been employed as a computer programmer and in later years worked at Home Depot. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his daughter, Amy (Misael) Marquez; five grandchildren, Whitney (Cameron) Cloyd, Cierra Green, Edward Hafley, Conner White and Liam White; four great grandchildren, Kody Carpenter, Envi Cloyd, Ryle'ley Green and Rye'ann Green; one sister, Carol (Rudy) Fister; brother, Kirk (Kim) White; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Robby" White; a grandson, Landen White; and grandson-in-law, D'Andre Green. Funeral services will be 1 pm Thurs., June 15 at The Cathedral of Christ the King., 299 Colony Blvd. Lexington, KY. Visitation will be 10 am - 12 pm Thurs. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will take place at Lexington Cemetery following the service.
