Thomas “Tommy” Wayne Johnson, 78, of Richmond, passed away on November 2nd, 2023. He was born October 8, 1945, in Lexington to the late Ray and Hattie Lou Ward Johnson. He attended Lafayette High School, the University of Kentucky and proudly served in the United States National Guard. He was the owner and operator of T W Johnson Custom Spreading and he retired from the Holland Trucking Company. Tommy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Naomi Barnes Johnson; his children, Matt Johnson (Ginger), Carrie McIntosh (William), Mark Feather, and Kevin Johnson; seven grandchildren, Hayden Feather, Addison Johnson, Paige Johnson, Quinn Martin, Aurora Johnson, Briar Johnson and Julie Johnson; and two brothers, James Ray Johnson (Pat), and Bobby Johnson (Brenda). Funeral services will be held at 12PM Tuesday, November 7th, 2023, at Lafayette Church of the Nazarene, Lexington, KY. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Monday, November 6th, 2023, and from 11AM until the time of service Tuesday all at the church. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
