It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Jane Wafford (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James R. Wafford and Mildred Bernice Wafford; her sister Adella Dianna Vanderpool; her siblings-in-law, Dena Carol Wafford and John Earl; and her nephew Timothy Vanderpool.

She is survived by : her siblings, Norman Wafford of Nicholasville, KY, Sharon Earl of Frankfort and Brad Wafford (Angie) of Nicholasville; and her significant other James Wally Robinson of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Milward-Southland (391 Southland Dr, Lexington, KY 40503). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 5th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or Broadway Baptist Church.
