Kimberly Beth Farmer 62, wife of Bill Farmer, Jr. died Saturday, April 22, 2023. Born in Lexington she was the daughter of the late Thomas Gilbert and Anita Gay Edmundson. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Thomas Miller. A beautiful giving person to all and a mortgage banker that helped so many folks have a home of their own. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School and a member of the Cathedral of Christ the King. Survivors are her husband of 31 years Bill Farmer, Jr., her daughter Mindy (Daniel) Kissane, and her son, Will Farmer III; her brother, Andrew Thomas (Stephanie) Edmundson; and her grandsons, Derek, Jackson, and Rhett – all of Lexington. Those young gentlemen love their Mimi and will miss her additions to every event and occasion. Mimi made it special. A funeral mass for Kim will be held 11am Monday, May 1st at The Cathedral of Christ the King with a reception to follow in Hehman Hall. Caregivers at Baptist Health Lexington, the Markey Canter Center, and Bluegrass Care Navigators made her journey the best it could be.
