Robert Lee “Bob” Tanner, 73, husband of Grace “Gracie” Tanner, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 surrounded by his family.  He was the son of the late James O. and Anna May Tanner and was born in Lexington, KY on October 15, 1949.   

Bob served as a Deacon at Broadway Baptist Church for many years and devoted his time and talent to serving the Lord in many areas of ministry.  He enjoyed the outdoors and being outside with his family.   

In addition to his dear wife, Grace, of 51 years, he leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jonathon “John” Lee Tanner; his granddaughters, Natalie and Rachel; and his brothers, James, William and Daniel Tanner.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 11 am to 1:30 pm, followed by the funeral at 1:30 pm, Milward-Southland, 391 Southland Dr.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made to Broadway Baptist Church.  www.milwardfuneral.com
