Lexington, Kentucky - Dana Elizabeth Patterson Johnson age 50, beloved wife of Bryan Dale Johnson passed away suddenly on Friday, March 19th of 2021 at her residence. Dana was born in Shelby, NC on October 28th in 1970. Dana was the daughter of Diane Gibson-Patterson (Lexington) and the late Charles H. Patterson. Dana was a graduate of Lafayette High School in Lexington as well as Lexington Community College. Dana was the Customer Relations Director at The Lafayette retirement community where she was employed for many years. She had a love and passion for the residents and referred to them as her "boys and girls." Dana was also instrumental in implementing the Red Hat Society at The Lafayette. Dana is survived by her husband, Bryan Dale Johnson and her mother Diane Gibson-Patterson. She is also survived by a special uncle Larry "Dale" Gibson (Lexington); aunts Catherine Gibson (Shelby, NC); Barbara "Bobbi" Patterson Gibson (Nashville, TN); Tammi and Lynn Dodson (Wilmington, NC). Special cousins Jeff and Sheila White (Lexington, KY) and son Tyler; Joey and Libby Miller (Dalton, GA) and sons Kyle and Ian; Brandy Gibson Beason
(Shelby, NC) and daughters Hannah Brooks (Matthews, NC), Ericah Beason (San Marcos, TX) and son Luke Beason (Shelby, NC); Ryan Dodson (Wilmington, NC) and Wesley Dodson (Wilmington, NC). She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents James D. Patterson and Sybil Sisk Patterson. Maternal grandparents Ray E. Gibson Sr. and Elizabeth M. Gibson and uncle Ray E. (Rick) Gibson and cousin Eric N. Gibson (Shelby, NC). Visitation is set for Wednesday March 24th at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington, Kentucky at 10:30 am to
12:30 p.m. The funeral is Wednesday March 24th at 12:30 p.m.
with burial to follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. In Dana's
