Carroll Lee Warren - Class Of 1957

Carroll Lee Warren, age 83, of Lexington, Kentucky departed this earth on Saturday, July 10, 2021, after a long struggle with chronic illness. Mr. Warren was born June 29, 1938, in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Glenn and Ora Ethel Warren. He grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from Lafayette High school in 1957. Mr. Warren remained in Lexington and became a fireman with the Lexington Fire Department where he eventually retired after 31 years. Mr. Warren is survived by his wife of 7 years, Judy (Arvin) Warren. He leaves three children; Teresa (Doug) Eikenberry; Sammi (James) Northern; and Brian (Kellie) Warren, six grandchildren; Jeffrey, Megan, Nicholas, Sam, Sophia, and Sadie and six great grandchildren; Zoe, Violet, Wyatt, Addison, Beau and Riley. Mr. Warren is also survived by a sister, Donna Pelfrey and brother, Bill Warren; three nieces, and one nephew. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Carolyn Ann Warren. Mr. Warren was most recently a member of Christ Centered Church on Eastland Parkway. He was an avid reader of the Bible. He enjoyed collecting and selling items at flea markets and was a self-taught mechanic who enjoyed tinkering with cars and other machinery. Services will be 2:30pm Friday, July 16 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Road, Lexington with Brother William Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:30pm until time of service Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Centered Church in Lexington, Kentucky.
