Mark C Durbin - Class Of 1975

 

 

Mark C. Durbin, 63, a lifelong resident of Lexington, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 20, 2021.
He was born June 5, 1958 to Ralph and Katie Botkin Durbin of Nicholasville. Mark was a graduate of Lafayette High School and the University of Kentucky. He spent 45 years at the Lexington Cemetery before retiring as President and General Manger in 2019. Mark was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Bernadette Parish in Louisville, KY.
He is survived by his loving wife of over forty years, Beth Ann Edwards Durbin, his two sons Curtis Durbin (Katie), Myles Durbin (Rachel); four granddaughters, Bailey, Emme, Avery, and Adley Durbin; and one brother Eric Durbin (Carol).
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 24th at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 25th at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
An avid dog lover, Mark’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504.
