Lexington, Kentucky - Margaret Ann "Sissy" Mink Riggs, 87, widow of Amos Riggs, died Friday, September 24th. Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Lucille Baker Mink. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School, a member of Grace Baptist Church and a former employee of Kentucky Utilities. Survivors are two sons, Kirby (Barbara) Riggs of Winchester; and Todd Riggs of Bixby, OK; two grandsons, Rodney Dale Riggs and Wesley Todd Riggs; two sisters Sue Ensminger and Patsy Mink, both of Nicholasville; two brothers, John and Connie Mink, both of Harrodsburg; and special family friend and angel, Paula Martin. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Mink. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 29 at 11am at Grace Baptist Church. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Rodney and Wesley Riggs, and nephews, Shane Ensminger, John Brady Mink, Zack Mink, Mitchell Mink, David Trimble and Barry Riggs. Honorary pallbearers will be the Light Shearers Sunday School Class. Visitation will be from 9:30am to 11am at the church. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Baptist Church general fund.
