MACKEY, Austin Blake, 23, passed away unexpectedly July 13, 2019 in Harrodsburg, KY. Born February 7, 1996 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Robert and LaShonda Crouch. Blake was a 2014 graduate of Lafayette High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. He was a member of 2nd 138 Artillery Battalion of the Kentucky National Guard: Combat Medic. He was employed by Thompson Construction, and was an avid music, baseball, and football fan. Blake was an organ donor. Survivors other than his parents include seven siblings, LaShea (Ron) Gauthier, Courtney (Nicholas) Mackey-Helton, Jane Mackey-Halleran, Robert Mackey, Robin Crouch, Casey (Matt) Stockton, and Nick Crouch; nieces and nephews, Eden, Liam, Gram, Jordon, Hailie and Kaden; aunts and uncles, James (Pam) Crouch, Howard (Vivian) Crouch, Sharon Crouch, Jenny Lusby, John Barton, Andy Fitch and Lara Barton; cousins, Sarah, Megan, Ashley, Jessica, Howard, Jr., Alyssa, and Brandon. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thurs., July 18 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wed. at the funeral home.
