CARTER Katherine Day, 50, was born in Lexington, KY on October 1, 1968 to Karen H. and Nolan (NicK) Carter Jr. Kat, as she was known to family and friends, graduated from Lafayette High School and Transylvania University with Distinction. Thereafter, she lived and worked in Lexington until she died suddenly and unexpectedly on December 21, 2018. Katherine in addition to her parents, is survived by a sister, Kelly C. Carter and her fiance', Jeffery Wood. A private celebration of her life attended by her immediate family and finace' was conducted by Father Douglas Owens on December 26, 2018. Katherine's survivors are grateful for being blessed with having her as a daughter and sister and appreciate the time we had to enjoy her, but regret that the time was so short. However, we will forever remember her and treasure the legacy of the wealth of GOOD memories that she left us.
