Richard Craig Obituary

MY FATHER, MY HERO, MY DAD My Dad won't be remembered by me as he was towards the end of his life. No, in my dreams I see him in his prime...a firefighter with an infectious personality. Richard "Dick" Lee Craig was born June 4, 1950 and passed away on March 21, 2018. He was a Lexington native that towards the end of his life moved away to Myrtle Beach, but Lexington will always be his home. A graduate of Lafayette High School, my Dad, was wicked smart, very tall and charismatic. Dad will be remembered by his big smile, the way he supported his team of firefighters at Lexington Fire Stations, and loved them like family, the way he always made everything fun (even chores), his love for playing golf, supporting UK basketball, his love for movies, how he loved being on the lake, riding his motorcycle... but most of all, the way he loved his family. Rest In Peace Daddy. The memorial will be Saturday, August 18th, at Rosemont Baptist Church, the service begins at 2pm. We would love for you go join us in his celebration of life. We will share stories of him. Please feel free to come and tell us your stories about Dad.
