Conrad Lewis Louie Stotz

STOTZ Conrad Lewis "Louie," 73, husband of Mary Jo-Ellen Pike Stotz, died Friday. Born on Feb. 7, 1942 to the late Conrad and Catherine Stotz in Louisville, KY. Known for his love of the Lord and all people, and his great sense of humor, he graduated from Lafayette High School, served in the military, and attended UK. He was a faithful servant in Bible Study Fellowship, and was a deacon, choir member, Sunday School and Bible Drill teacher, and leader in student ministries at Calvary Baptist Church. He is the creator of The Thanksgiving Game, and a proud member of the White Castle Hall of Fame. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, John (Jenny) Stotz and Maria Lester; one brother Richard L. (Shirley) Stotz, all of Lexington, one sister Catherine (Jim) Sullivan of Perryville; three granddaughters, Olivia, Chloe and Piper Stotz, mother-in-law Peryda M. Pike, brother-in-law Jackie (Ruth) Pike, sister-in-law Patricia (Joe) Matthis, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1pm at Calvary Baptist, 150 E. High St, Lexington. Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday at the church and 11am-1pm Wednesday. Arrangements by Kerr Brothers, Main St. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church, BSF Int'l, or Orphan Voice.
