Wayne C. Farmer, 88, widower of Christine Webb Farmer, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024. Born Oct. 12, 1935, in Lexington. Wayne was the son of the late Robert B. and Lois Moores Farmer. Wayne was a graduate of Lafayette High School, a member of Broadway Christian Church and retired from IBM. He is survived by three children, David (Laura) Farmer, Karen (Paul) Higdon, Tim (Lisa) Farmer; three grandchildren, Kristi (Bryan) Gotcher, Andrew Farmer, Matthew Jastrzebski; four great grandchildren, Sydney, Carson, Caroline and Henry; and three siblings, Gene (Jeanne) Farmer, Pat Stephens, and Greg (Brenda) Farmer. In addition to his wife Christine, Wayne was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alice Leeann Farmer; two sisters, Callie Peed and Doris Gordon; and two brothers, Bill and Bobby Farmer. Funeral services will be 10:00AM on Fri., June 21, 2024, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Rd. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Thurs. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Broadway Christian Church, 187 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40507.
