JOHNSON James “Jimbo” Harvey Jr., died Sunday, December 31, 2023. Born January 20, 1955 in Cleveland, OH, he was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Johnson Sr. and Arleen Napier; a brother, Kenny Johnson; a sister, Marta Pattie; and one son, Jeremiah “Jeremie” Johson. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School and was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran of the Vietnam War. For several years, he owned and ran Johnson Sign Company, and he enjoyed football, horse racing, and fishing. He was a man of strong faith and especially loved the book of Revelation. Jimbo is survived by his three grandchildren, Nicholas James Johnson, Skyler James Johnson, and Hayden James Johnson; one brother, Bob Johnson; one sister, Linda Johnson; his loyal dog, Shiloh; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 12:30pm on Monday, January 8, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, KY. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitations will be held Monday at 10:30am until the service time at the funeral home
