Perry Ellis Bozarth

Perry Ellis Bozarth, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 2, 2021, after a long and courageous battle. He was born on October 1, 1946, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Kathryn Oyler Bozarth and Gordon Thomas Bozarth. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Darlene Neal Bozarth; 2 children, Scott Bozarth and Jennifer (Russell) Golden; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Bozarth, Broox Golden, and Tatum Golden; brother-in-law, Chris (Cheryl) Neal; and other family members and friends.  

 

Perry graduated from Lafayette High school in 1964 and went on to graduate with a business degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 1969. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where he served 4 years. He then went on to Central Welding Supplies, where he spent 15 years as President and then became the CFO of Sallee Horse Vans, where he remained until his retirement in 2007.

Visitation Tuesday, July 6th, 6pm-8pm at Milward-Southland.  Funeral service Wednesday, July 7th, 11am at Milward-Southland.  Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery.
