Ella Ritchey Crowe Flynn, 95, wife of the late Bobby Flynn for 76 years, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Born October 10, 1927 in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of Chester Clay Crowe and Marie Crowe Faust. Ella Ritchey was a graduate of Lafayette High School. She was a woman of strong faith and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was great athlete during her life and an avid fan of UK and the Cincinnati Reds. She is survived by 2 sons, Doug (Olga) Flynn of Lexington, KY and Brad (Leslie) Flynn of Nicholasville, KY; a granddaughter, Chase Marie Flynn; a sister, Rose Chasteen. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Dee Flynn and a brother, Jack Crowe. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until 12:30pm with the service following on Wednesday, December 28th at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mark Jeter, John Hoagland, Richard Moloney, Steve Harris, Mike Belcher and Rick Chasteen. Honorary pallbearer is Jim Andrews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sayre Christian Village, 3775 Belleau Woods Drive, Lexington, KY 40517.
