SMITH, Margaret A. Carr, 90, widow of William N. Smith, died July 30, 2019 at the St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Center in Lexington, KY. Born July 28, 1929 in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Cordelia Fightmaster Carr. Mrs. Smith was retired from General Motors Manufacturing and was a member of Old Union Christian Church. Survivors include a sister, Edna Frankie Jeffcoat, of Nicholasville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Rex Carr, Chester Carr, Ora Lee Carr, Wesley Carr and John Carr. Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Fri., Aug. 2 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Dr. Kevin Milburn and Rev. Scott Winkler. Burial will take place 1 pm Sat. in Tarlton Cemetery, Laurelville, OH. Visitation will be 10:30 am Fri. until the service time at the funeral home.
