In Memory

Larry C Brewer - Class Of 1967

Larry C Brewer

  Died December 22, 2021

Larry C. Brewer was a man who could light up a room with his quick wit and warm spirit. He was a jokester at heart, always finding a way to bring out the best in life. He gave thoughtful advice (even when you didn't want to hear it) and it was always meaningful. He was a supportive husband, father, brother, family member, friend, and mentor.

But above all, he loved deeply. Those who got to know him never doubted that. That love started most closely with his wife, Sue, of 42 years and his daughter, April, who inherited many of his best qualities. His family, friends, and community meant the world to him. That unending well of love also poured over to his passions including all things University of Kentucky, Corvettes, stamp collecting, his beloved dog BeBe, and so much more.

Larry's death was sudden. His family wants you to know that this would be a moment for one of his encouraging talks filled with wisdom. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, live an authentic life that you love without worry of what others think, and be good to everyone around you.

We are remembering Larry with contributions to the Lexington Humane Society.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday April 9, 2022 from 6-8pm at Clark Legacy Center on Brannon Road. We hope to gather and share the abundance of good memories of a man who made such a huge impact on so many.
