MATTINGLY, Michael Wayne, 58, died Aug. 25, 2018 in Clarksville, TN. Born Aug. 6, 1960 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Wanda Lee Rhodes Mattingly and the late Thomas Hugh Mattingly. Mr. Mattingly was a graduate of Lafayette High School and attended the University of Kentucky. He was a network engineer for CDE Lightband. Survivors other than his mother include a son, Jeremy Mattingly, Brentwood, TN; daughter, Mackenzie (Matthew) Hayes, Nashville, TN; brother, Tom Mattingly, also of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Valerie Gore, Charleston, SC, Lee Ellen Sturgill, Lexington, KY and Jill Kelly, Louisville, KY; and many nieces and nephews, whom Michael dearly loved. Funeral services will be held 11 am Fri., Aug. 31, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 501 W. Short Street, Lexington, KY 40508 by Rev. Chris Clay. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thurs. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd.
