Lorena Bach Wilson (Browning) - Class Of 1940

 

 

 

BROWNING, Lorena Bach Wilson, 95, passed away peacefully on Tues., Feb. 13, 2018. Born Dec. 27, 1922 to the late Vernon T. and Rosa Mae Bach. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Lexington Garden Club, Lexington Women’s Club, one of the founders of the Lafayette Alumni Association, an avid Bridge player, and an astute cook and hostess. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Lt. Colonel James W. Wilson and Leon Browning, siblings, Jay Wallin, Elva Allen, and Vernon Bach, Jr. She is survived by siblings, Allene Fletcher (Bill), David Bach, and Linda Bach; children, Sandy Wilson Osboe, Bowling Green, Jim Wilson (Zilda), Nicholasville, KY and Bob Wilson, Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Chele Gillon (Scott), Glasgow, KY, Christian Osboe, Aurora, CO, Jason Osboe (Amy), Bowling Green, KY, Julie Roberts (Tony), Richmond, KY, Rob Wilson, Nicholasville, KY, Ian Goff (Tiffany), Nicholasville, KY and Christopher Goff (Rebecca), Columbus, OH; great grandchildren, James Paul Roberts, Alex Roberts, Owen Goff, Miles Goff, Presley Goff, Emilee Coffman and Fisher Coffman; and many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Fri., Feb.16, followed by funeral services at 7 pm, Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will be at the Lexington Cemetery on Sat., Feb. 17 with a procession leaving at 10 am from Kerr Brothers, Harrodsburg Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
