JUSTUS, Peggy Lee Durham, 75, completed her earthly journey on January 18, 2014 at her home. She was positive and strong throughout her fight against cancer. A native of Lexington, KY, she was born on October 23, 1938 to the late Elmore and Catherine Clift Durham. Peggy was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Kimberly Kay Justus and Joi Lee Knapp (Brian). Kim and Joi's father, Roy C. Justus preceded Peggy in death. She was loved by four grandchildren, Madeline, Payton, Cameron and LeeAnn, as well as her brother Estill Durham. She graduated in 1957 from Lafayette High School. Peggy was devoted to her many friends having never met a stranger, to a good poker game, to a long beach vacation, to a winning day at Keeneland, to an exciting UK basketball or UK football game and to thoroughly enjoying life to its fullest with a dirty martini & extra olives. Hard work did not deter Peggy. She was a dedicated worker in her bookkeeping positions at various horse farms and during her 30 years at Justice Real Estate. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and a member of Gardenside Christian Church. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wed. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home,  Harrodsburg Rd., with burial to follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Tues 4 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
